About Horsham in Bloom

We are an independent not-for-profit charity working in partnership with local businesses, organisations, residents, volunteer groups and Horsham District Council.

Our aim is to encourage horticultural excellence, community participation and environmental responsibility within the boundaries of Horsham Town.

We will achieve this by sponsorship, education, provision of floral displays, initiating and supporting environmental and horticultural projects, sustainable planting and landscape enhancement.

We are particularly keen to support new and exciting horticultural projects which create places for people to enjoy, such as the recently opened Human Nature Garden.

Human Nature Garden
Opened in June 2011, the grassed amphitheatre of the Human Nature Garden has become a perfect place for a picnic for mums and their toddlers.
Small children love to dance on the stage of the amphitheatre and to run to the carved sheep, particularly to clamber over them and sit for a while.
They also love exploring the pathways and follow each other up the track where, in summer, the sunflowers tower above their heads and the bees are buzzing in the Borage.
